Built from castings supplied by The Engineer's Emporium, this one has come to us from a long time customer and prolific, highly-skilled engineer - regular readers may remember his Westbury "Centaur" gas engine, heavily re-worked "Pride of Penrhyn" steam wagon, jewel-like Shand Mason fire pump and the fabulous British Mk4 tank.
The engine turns over freely, with good compression and starts easily, running on bottled gas.
There is a feed pump fitted, chain-driven through reduction gearing from the crankshaft.
The governor is apparently more for show than control, the engine runs more hit than miss.
