We would be more than happy to give half a day's instruction on the steaming, running and disposal of the engine to a new owner if required.

A 7 1/4 inch gauge "Stafford" 0-4-0ST, a factory-built engine, delivered new in October 2012.

One of the first engines we painted in this hand lined and lettered red livery - it quickly became a bit of a favourite, we've made several since (including the show engine which we took to exhibitions at that time.

Recently arrived back with us, the engine has been serviced in our works, including fitting new connecting rod bushes. The boiler - retubed earlier this year - has had hydraulic and steam tests with new certification issued, internal inspection showing it to be in excellent condition.

In steam for four hours last week, the engine proved itself to run as well as ever, the injectors performing faultlessly.

Factory fitted with vacuum brakes and water gauge protector from new, the previous owner has fitted a bell-type whistle replacing the original chime whistle, a regulator "open/shut" legend plate and steam valve handwheels.

Supplied with handbook, 12 months warranty and starter kit of coal, oil and water treatment.
