The original 0-4-0 we launched in 2010, with many examples now running in the UK, the USA and Canada, Australia and New Zealand, France, the Netherlands and Germany.
Based on typical industrial narrow gauge practice, it was developed as a powerful, robustly-engineered locomotive, easy to drive for beginners yet having ample performance for extended club running.
From the experience we've gained repairing and servicing many hundreds of engines over the years in our workshop, key design considerations have been ease of maintenance, provision of generous bearing surfaces and use of high quality materials throughout - all contribute to an engine that will give many years of trouble-free service.
The engine shown, works number 1328, is fitted with vacuum brake equipment and finished in RAL 3011 red, hand paneled, lined and sign written.
