7 1/4 inch gauge AME Class 66 battery electric - stock code 13324

A 7 1/4 inch gauge Class 66 battery-electric by AME Trains, a one-owner locomotive in excellent condition.

A model of the last Class 66 built, finished in Brunswick green, carrying the number 66779 and the nameplate "Evening Star", paying tribute to the last steam locomotive built by British Railways.

One of the largest locomotives we've had in this gauge - fortunately we could borrow the Duchess stand to photograph it on!

Fitted with four batteries, driving six motors in total - three per bogie - via a 4QD 24 volt controller. Transmission is via steel gears.

There is a good quality sound card fitted, with speed-related engine noise and sampled start-up sequence, air brake release etc.

Complete with batteries, hand controller and charger.
