The engine has been serviced, with new gauge glass and seals fitted, new pressure gauge, clack valves and injectors stripped and cleaned and blower nozzles cleaned.
The commercially made boiler has had hydraulic and steam tests, with new certification issued. Water feeds are by twin injectors, along with a twin ram axle pump fitted to the tender. If you can't keep water in the boiler with this one, you might want to consider a battery-electric...
The locomotive and tender are fitted with steam brakes, with operating valve and displacement lubricator for same in the cab.
The backhead is well laid out, with boiler and valve chest pressure gauges, and twin water gauges.
On test the engine steamed freely and ran very well in either direction.
Supplied with handbook, 12 months warranty, firing irons and starter kit of coal and oil.
If required we would be more than happy to include training at our works on the firing, driving and disposal of the engine for a new owner.
