It's recently come back rebuilt and resplendent in new paint, yet to be steamed. The work of an experienced engineer, he's done a super job of it - we love the sympathetic retention of as much original material as possible and the "holster" let into the nearside side tank for the recently-installed hand pump's handle!
The chassis runs on air - nicely in reverse where it will link up four notches on the reverser, less well in forwards where it runs better slightly notched up, indicating that the reverser position (or reach rod length, whichever you prefer) needs adjustment.
The engine will require some work to commission for steaming, including replacement of the length of steel rod in the water gauge with some glass tube.
Complete with a small box of parts, including the original safety valve and vintage Bassett Lowke pressure gauge.
