It sold to a new owner who, since then, has erected the wheels, had rubber tyres professionally bonded to the rims and purchased a set of commercially cut gears.
A change in circumstances means that the engine is now looking for its third owner - the one we hope will actually get to light a fire in it! Significant work remains to be done, however with professionally machined cylinder block, crankshaft and gears, there's the basis of a super engine here that requires hours in the workshop rather than significant amounts of money spending on it.
We sold a fine example of this handsome design earlier in the year - there are pictures in the archive here.
