An early stage 2 inch scale Burrell DCC Scenic Showmans engine to Ronald.H.Clarke's highly detailed "Thetford Town" design.
Work is to a good standard, assembly to date comprises:
- Silver soldered copper boiler with club certification for initial shell test
- Hornplates
- Tender and crane turret
- Smokebox with chimney
- Belly tanks
In addition, there is a large quantity of loose parts and castings, including:
- Front and rear wheel rims, hub blanks and profiled spokes
- Material for rubber tyres
- Set of spur gearing
- Twisted brass Olivers, wooden canopy ribs and bulbs
- Etched brass works plates
- Unmachined gunmetal castings, including cylinder block with covers, valves etc, differential hub and gears
- Unmachined cast iron flywheel
- Drawings and construction manual
