A well-made Stanier 2-6-4T, built as one of a pair to Martin Evans' "Jubilee" design. The other engine was completed and is now running, its sibling languished somewhat before finally ending up at the back of the workshop queue, a victim of too many projects, not enough time (and where I have I heard that before...)

Runs well on air, the copper boiler is all silver soldered. Work to complete is mainly sheet metal and fitting out the boiler, all the heavy duty machining has been done.

Complete with a set of drawings and copies of "Model Engineer" covering the original construction series. A handsome design which runs well, we've had some really super examples in the past - there are some pictures in the archive to give you an idea of what to aim for.
