An ancient single cylinder slip eccentric locomotive chassis, of 2 inch gauge or thereabouts. From the proportions and brass wheels it looks to be a pre-war commercial product.

Immensely grubby (even after we'd blown all the dust and cobwebs off) and not a little rusty. Remarkably it turns over and even runs on air after a fashion.
