The work of a man who served his apprenticeship, and subsequently his working life in London as a gunsmith, specialising in high end sporting guns - a highly talented engineer, he was also responsible for the very fine Fowler A7 we sold recently.
Fit and finish are to an excellent standard throughout, the engine abounds with well-observed prototypical details including flywheel keyed to the crankshaft, bar-turned nuts and half height locknuts, taper retaining pins in the motionwork and finely cast twin flywheels.
A very fine piece of work, we like this one.
