An interesting model, comprising a welded vessel constructed from - going by the parts we can get our ultrasonic tester to - impressively thick material, housed within a faux-vintage cladding, with intricate lap joint and rivet details.
This one has come to us as part of a large collection of full-size and miniatures engines and associated equipment from the family of the late owner. We have no documentation for the boiler, although a preliminary test at twice working pressure showed no signs of leaks or distortion.
We would be happy to warranty the boiler as sound, however it will need disassembly to allow examination of the inner shell prior to hydraulic test.
