An exhibition quality vertical coal-fired boiler, the work of a highly experienced engineer with several award-winning locomotives and stationary engines to his credit (including one of the finest 3 1/2 inch gauge A4 Pacifics we've seen).

The man spent his working life in engineering and built models throughout, starting with LBSC's "Mona", completed over fifty years ago.

The boiler is in as-new, unsteamed condition. When first built it took first prize in its class at the Midland Model Engineering Exhibition and is complete with its award certificate. It has had a recent hydraulic test with new certification issued.
