Triple expansion engine - stock code 2058

Well made triple expansion marine engine, typical of nineteenth century practice with condensor and air pump, slide valves with Stephenson's reversing gear. Drain cocks to all cylinders, wheel regulator valve, all pipe fittings flanged and bolted.

Built to the O.B.Bolton design, revised and described in "Model Engineer" by John Bertinat. The same builder was responsible for an excellent Allchin, the Liverpool and Manchester "Lion" we have in stock and a rather nice Bentley rotary aero engine in 1/6th scale. The engine is around 25 years old, and won his local Model Engineering Society's "Best in Show" award on completion.
