Stuart Twin Victoria - stock code 2137

An impressively-sized derivative of the highly popular Stuart Victoria mill engine, the twin Victoria is a rare bird – this is the only one that’s ever come in. The design is reminiscent of the large twin cylinder engines powering the Lancashire mills in the nineteenth century.

This is an older model, well-made and mounted on a wooden box bed with aluminium base plate. The twin flywheel is grooved to simulate the original rope-drive set-up of the prototype engines, the cylinders are fitted with draincocks beneath, operated by levers at the end of the bed. The engine runs nicely on air, self-starting with its 90 degree cranks.
