We're pretty sure this is an early Stuart Turner No.3 compound twin marine engine - size and proportions are the same as this ancient specimen we sold back in 2004.
 
One of rarest models in the Stuart Turner range, the castings have recently gone back into production for the first time in many years. We've seen only one or two complete engines in the last twenty years.

The engine turns freely, one inlet pipe and a valve chest stud are missing.
