Professionally-built steam hammer by Graham Larrington of Bridge of Brown Crafts. We sold this one some years ago - words below from that time, photographs taken this week.

A Stuart steam hammer, built to an excellent standard by one of the leading professional modellers working in the country at the moment. I first encountered his work some years ago when I bought a Stuart Victoria, originally commissioned by a collector in preference to buying a factory-built engine - it was a superb thing, coupled to a Stuart "Mendip" boiler it would run at the slowest tickover imaginable with under five pounds showing on the clock.

This model was built some years ago and has come direct from the builder, who nowadays devotes much of his time to bespoke locomotive and traction engine builds. Fit and finish is first rate throughout, it is mounted on a finely machined hardwood base.
