A marine steam plant featuring a Stuart Sirius engine coupled to a paraffin-fired boiler with handpump. The engine is fitted with a displacement lubricator and drain cocks, it turns over freely but requires a replacement bush in the Scotch crank drive to the piston valve. Although the plant has a distinct air of dilapidation, there is the makings of a decent restoration project here which would power a substantial size hull.
