I have high regard for the work of Graham Larrington, a professional model maker working up near Elgin. I've had several of his models in the past, ranging from a superbly made Stuart Victoria and Rigby's Patent Steam Hammer through to a magnificent 4 inch scale Garrett agricultural engine and 3 1/2 inch gauge LNER A1/1 Pacific.

This Stuart No.1 was built over twenty years ago, his first ever commission build. Fit and finish is excellent throughout, detailing is well done with thinned down nuts and corners turned off the crosshead which makes it stand out from a run of the mill Stuart. It appears to have spent its life to date on display, there is no trace of mechanical wear.
