Stuart "James Coombes" table engine - stock code 9139

An exceptionally well-built Stuart "James Coombes", one of the nicest we've seen in some years.

Machining is to an excellent standard throughout, fit and finish of all parts is good - as expected the engines runs well on air, there's some video of it here. The governor rotates merrily and has a fully functional throttle linkage but, like many small scale governors, is more for show than serious speed control.

Finished in Stuart livery of dark green and black, the engine is complete with some very finely proportioned bronze drain cocks and cylinder lubricator.
