A vintage vertical engine, we think probably by Stuart Turner. In size and style very similar to their No.7, itself a "smaller brother" to the original "No.1".

Turns freely, valve chest cover appears to be a replacement brass plate.

Well worth stripping and repainting - it's a well proportioned, rather attractive engine.
