The boiler proved sound on an initial hydraulic test although requires the water gauge stripping and cleaning - it's currently blocked - and the repair to the pressure gauge syphon and banjo.
The engine is grubby, but underneath the grime it appears well made, fitted with displacement lubricator, drain cocks and Stuart gear-driven boiler feed pump.
The crankshaft is fitted with a two inch marine flywheel at one end, aligned with a line shaft which it's obviously intended to run by means of a flat belt, the other end of the line shaft driving a dynamo.
