Last sold in 2018, this one's arrived back in with us recently. The interim owner has corrected the valve timing and the engine now runs more smoothly, albeit with considerable wear in the motion.

An older Stuart beam engine, built to a fairly pedestrian standard and painted offensively. Complete with drain cocks and displacement lubricator.

The engine turns over, although in a fairly lumpy manner. One of the earlier engines with turned rather than pressed links in the Watts linkage, there is the potential with an overhaul and repaint to make a nice example of this popular engine.
