A high speed, fully enclosed engine, the "BB" denoted the overhung crankshaft running on a ball main bearing located in the crankcase.
A similar size engine to the 10V, although with slightly increased stroke and, with its balanced crank. Rated by Stuart for 4000rpm, the design was ideally suited to applications such as driving a dynamo or centrifugal pump.
