Introduced in 1924, the earlier model is of nice proportions; curvy like a No.8 rather than the later, rather boxy "trunk guide" 10Hs.
Curiously, the cylinder is mounted such that the valve chest cover is slightly out of perpendicular to the base. It appears to have had little detrimental effect - the engine turns over smoothly and runs well on air.
