A steam plant comprising a coal-fired vertical boiler with Stuart S50 mill engine.

A feed pump has been fitted rather neatly to the engine, there is a water tank with auxiliary hand pump.

Apparently unused in many years, the plant will require work to recommission for steam.

The boiler appeared dry and free of distortion on test, there were small leaks from fittings which require will removal, cleaning and refitting with a drop of sealant.

The engine doesn't currently run, air passing the piston and/or valve - a straightforward job to dismantle, repack, lubricate and reassemble.

Well made overall, fit and finish of the engine is good - a worthwhile project, it would clean up well.
