We sold this one to a long-time customer of ours last year - recently arrived back with us, it's been on display since and remains in the same condition pictured opposite.

A large, well built model of a steam hammer - not the usual (indeed, pretty, much only) design by Stuart Models but something altogether more massively proportioned.

Suffice to say that, on test, it's the first model steam hammer we've seen where you really need to make sure your fingers are out of the way before delivering a full power downstroke!

The work of an experienced engineer, this one has come to us as part of a larger collection of his engines.

Complete with purpose built wooden box.
