Well made, it appears commercially built. The shell is stamped up with serial number, build date, working and test pressures. Stored for many years, it's come to us from the late owner's family, with no other documentation other than that stamped on the boiler itself.
There are 304 1/2" diameter flue tubes, expanded into 1/2" thick tubeplates. Barrel is 1/4" thick.
On hydraulic test it showed no signs of leaks or deflection of plates at 300psi for 150psi working pressure. There is some build up of scale and silt inside which will require a washout.
Burner is liquid fuel fired, it looks very similar in design and size to the one in our Stanley EX.
