Bit of a cock-up this one. I bought a Stanier whistle sight unseen, thinking it would be ideal for my 12 1/4 inch gauge Pacific, which doesn't have a whistle at the moment. I knew it would be quite big, but then again, the Pacific's big.

This thing is very large, has a deep voice and is very loud when taking the entire output of the big workshop compressor. It is entirely unsuitable for any size model locomotive you can imagine (even 12 1/4 inch gauge Pacifics).

Slightly battle-scarred, the mounting flange is somewhat distorted, but overall it's in pretty good (and most melodic) condition.
