A small beam engine, well made and nicely detailed, the cylinder lagged in wood with brass bands, the whole engine mounted on an attractive faux stone engine house base with brass handrails.

Turns over freely and runs on air, with some wear apparent. The governor is more ornamental than functional, not unusual at this scale.
