Sanderson beam engine - stock code 9727

We sold this one back in 2018, it's recently come back as the owner downsizes his collection. Words below are from the last time it was here, pictures were taken this afternoon.

A particularly well made example of a 12hp 1846 Sanderson beam engine, built to 1 inch scale from the drawings and castings supplied originally by H.Clarkson and latterly Blackgates Engineering.

Fit and finish of machined parts is very good, the engine is mounted on a handsome wooden base with individual hand laid tiles forming the "engine room floor".

Currently enhancing our sitting room at home - elegant Victorian machinery always easy to get past the domestic authorities (but try getting a 9F into the house).
