A particularly well made example of a 12hp 1846 Sanderson beam engine, built to 1 inch scale from the drawings and castings supplied originally by H.Clarkson and latterly Blackgates Engineering.
Fit and finish of machined parts is very good, the engine is mounted on a handsome wooden base with individual hand laid tiles forming the "engine room floor".
Currently enhancing our sitting room at home - elegant Victorian machinery always easy to get past the domestic authorities (but try getting a 9F into the house).
