Sanderson 12hp beam engine c1846 - stock code 1900

Part-machined set of Clarkson castings for a beam engine modelled on the prototype by Sanderson of Glasgow, 1846. The design is an accurate model at 1 inch to the foot scale.

Cylinder bored and faced, ports cut, base, pillar and valve chest machined. Castings to complete, plus ready-machined bevel gears and balls for governor. Work to date is to a good standard. The drawings are rather age-tattered but useable.
