The mortal remains of a large 5 inch gauge 2-6-2 of indeterminate age and design. Overall proportions are Greenlyesque, with chunky wheels and valve gear. It looks to have been once a running engine – what remains comprises frame with stretchers and buffer beams, driving and coupled wheels, front bogie, a pair of cylinder assemblies, one complete with Baker valve gear, there is most of a set of valve gear for t'other. One coupling rod has broken but would be a straightforward repair by brazing, there is most of what is required to get an air-running chassis back together again.

In immensely grubby condition, largely due to a liberal covering of grease which, whilst having protected the steel beneath, has attracted every last bit of grit, dust and fluff over the years.
