A set of castings for Stuart Turner's majestic "Major" beam engine to H.A.Taylor's revision of George Gentry's original pre-WW1 design, originally serialised in "Model Engineer".

Mostly unmachined, the base plate and valve chest have been faced and the column turned to an excellent standard. The remaining castings are untouched and are complete with piston rings, finished gears and a set of drawings - in all about a half hundredweight.
