Part-built Speedy with Reeves boiler
Part-built chassis for the popular LBSC design "Speedy", based on the heavy 0-6-0 Great Western tank locomotives. There is some light surface rust, but all brightwork will clean up easily - the work so far is to a good standard and comprises:

Rolling chassis with gunmetal axleboxes, accurately quartered wheels and coupling rods fitted
Axle pump fitted
Piston valve cylinders in gunmetal machined and fitted, complete with pistons and endcovers
Motion brackets
Pair connecting rods (one complete and bushed, one unmachined blank)

In addition, there are parts and castings for:

Smoke box tube, front ring and smokebox door
Chimney
Smokebox saddle
Sanding boxes (x3)

There is a complete set of drawings and the LBSC constructional manual for this engine. Castings are still available from Reeves and Blackgates.
