Part-built model of a Ransomes, Sims & Jefferies portable engine to the John Haining design.

Work completed to date includes:

Flywheel machined, bored and broached with keyway
Two cylinders, appear to be machined from solid. One with ports in, require machining to fit barrel
Rear cylinder cover
Set of guide bars
Hornplates
Part-machined connecting rod
Smokebox and door
Chimney with top and hinge
Wheel rims (machined from solid, which looks like a pretty long-winded job to me!), one front wheel completed
Governor base
Front axle
Silver-soldered copper boiler
Firehole door

There is a complete set of drawings with the engine.
