Part-built beam engine - stock code 8749

An early stage 1 inch scale Sanderson beam engine of 1846, built to the Clarkson design.

An elegant design, the castings are no longer available - however with major components already completed: beam, column, crankshaft and cylinder, this one could be completed fabricating the remaining parts from stock material.

We've had several of these over the years, there are pictures in the archive if you want to see what the finished engine looks like.

Shipping is quoted excluding the rather unlovely woden box it's currently mounted on (although if you really feel you need the box as well, we'd be happy to get a price to ship complete).
