Part-built Bassett Lowke tank engine, designed by that company as a bit of a heavy-duty passenger hauler in 3 1/2 inch gauge. Work to date comprises:
Rolling chassis complete with axle pump
Cylinders faced and bored, ports to be done. Valve chests & slide valves.
Piston rough turned, to be finished to size
Connecting & coupling rods
Motionwork including expansion links and brackets, radius rods, weighshaft
Reversing lever, quadrant and stand
Silver soldered copper boiler, initial twice pressure hydraulic test (180psi)
with club certificate
In addition there is a substantial folder of paperwork including a complete set of drawings, copy of the Bassett Lowke booklet on the engine and the original builder's notes.
There's some pictures of a complete specimen in the archive (taken with my original digital camera, so they're a bit grotty).
