Time was when we would only ever see LBSC's "Lion" in 3 1/2 and 5 inch gauge - he described the build in both. In recent years, there's been something of a surge in interest in building 7 1/4 inch gauge versions, which makes up into a good-sized model.

This is a well-advanced rolling chassis with a good deal of work already done - completion of the Stephenson's valve gear, requiring eccentric straps and rods, expansion links and valves, would be a time rather than money sort of a job and would get the project to the air-running stage.

Tender chassis is complete with brakes and garish paintwork.
