A well-advanced 7 1/4 inch gauge "Edward Thomas", the Kerr Stuart 0-4-2T built in 1921 for the Corris Railway - it now runs on the Talyllyn.
Work to date comprises a rolling chassis with machined cylinders fitted, motion work machined and fitted, some valve gear including slides and die blocks for the Hackworth valve gear and leaf springs with hangers. There is a good deal of platework, including cab/bunker tanks, machined castings including valve chests and cylinder end covers, and unmachined castings including chimney base and cap.
The beautifully made all silver soldered copper boiler is one of Ms Verrall's creations, CE-marked (and complete with fitted crate!)
