Complete, air-running chassis with outside cylinders, inside valve chests with Stephenson's valve gear, drain cocks. Screw-reverser in cab. Axle pump fitted. Steam brakes. Copper boiler, no backhead fittings. Complete braked 8 wheel bogie tender with brass inner tank for water and hand pump.
Although of freelance design, there is much nice workmanship in the engine so far, with interesting details including a counterbalanced weighshaft and working leaf springs on both locomotive and tender. It will complete into an unusual, large 5 inch gauge locomotive.
