An exceptionally well made LNER B1, based on Martin Evans' well-known "Springbok" design, with detail changes to conform more accurately to the prototype.
Basically this is an almost complete engine less boiler and fittings, the tender appears to have started life with another B1 and requires stripping and painting. The chassis has been well-oiled and is clean (give or take a few bits of fluff), fit and finish of the valve gear is excellent. Wheels run in bronze bushed iron axleboxes.
