Started in 1973, with drawings, castings and boiler material supplied by Plastow, this 4 1/2 inch scale Burrell has been a while in the building...

The project comprises:

• Large quantity of castings in cast iron & gunmetal, including cylinder block, crankshaft and hubs

• Set of commercially machined gear, including complete machined differential assembly

• Machined flywheel

• Steering worm and wheel

• Profiled and drilled hornplates

• Front and rear wheel rims

• Set of front and rear spokes

• Smokebox with door, maker's cast plate, chimney base and rolled chimney with copper cap (with what appears to be the tool used to spin it included)

• Perch bracket

• Well-advanced boiler - requires stays fitting and tubes expanding, includes stay material

• Material for back axle

• Machined steering and brake wheels

There is a considerable amount of paperwork including drawings and invoices from Plastow dating from the 1970s.
