A well-advanced 3 ½ inch gauge LMS Jinty to LBSC’s “Molly” design. Work to date comprises a largely-complete chassis, fitted with gunmetal cylinders, all valve gear machined and fitted, crosshead pump part-machined and fitted. The brake stand and steam brake cylinder are erected, the brake rigging is made but not yet fitted to the chassis. There is a well-built silver-soldered copper boiler with new twice pressure hydraulic test certificate for 80psi working.
Most of the platework has been made, including much of the cab and tanks.
Work to date is to a good standard, this would be a straightforward project to finish – it requires time but little extra expenditure to complete, other than some boiler fittings
