Quite a rare bird, LBSC's "Iris" design for a GWR 0-6-0 tender engine. A straightforward build with slide valves and Stephenson's valve gear it makes up into a most attractive engine. Drawings and castings (and a picture of the completed engine) are still available from GLR Distributors
Work to date is to a good standard and includes:
Frames, buffer beams, buffers and stretchers all erected
Horns, axleboxes, wheels and axles all fitted complete with eccentric sheaves
Cylinder blocks machined and fitted
Valve chests and covers machined
Eccentrics machined
Coupling and connecting rods with bushes
