A freelance 0-4-2 tank engine, comprising a rolling chassis complete with cylinders and valve chests machined and fitted, all platework and a well-made silver-soldered copper boiler. Designed for Hackworth gear, there are some bits of motionwork including coupling rods, weighshaft and slide-block assembly. Built very much on narrow gauge lines with outside frames, the engine comes out the size of a smaller 5 inch gauge locomotive.
