A well-made example of Len Mason's "Minnie" design, a freelance traction engine in 1 inch scale. Work to date comprises a silver-soldered copper boiler, crank, second and third shafts made and fitted complete with gearing, one rear wheel built and another part-machined and complete with spokes, winch drum, a part-machined cylinder block, smokebox & chimney and a further quantity of unmachined castings.
