A brand new, unsteamed "Mazeppa" 0-4-0ST, built for publicity use during 2024 - it featured at the model launch in March and was latterly seen at the Midlands Model Engineering Exhibition in October.

Painted in exhibition finish, with green tank and cabs, Chinese red frames and vermilion buffer beams, all lined out in primrose yellow.

The boiler is UKCA and CE marked, all welded construction with expanded tubes and fitted with a fusible plug. Inspected by Lloyds during build, it comes complete with a documentation pack including material, welder's and initial hydraulic test certificate.

The spoked wheels are machined from EN8 steel, keyed and press-fitted to EN16T axles, running in sealed roller bearings.

Comprehensively equipped, the specification includes:

• Vacuum brake equipment - ejector, steam valve, driver's brake valve, vacuum gauge
• Valve chest pressure gauge
• 5 gallon TIG-welded stainless steel saddle tank
• Full cab with rivet detail
• Type 28A whistle and valve
• Brass spectacles
• Valve chest mounted snifting valves
• Sprung buffers with stainless steel heads
• Polished stainless steel handrails and smokebox door handles
• Two pack bronze green livery, panelled and lined, with Craftmaster China red frames
• Choice of nameplate
• Front and rear three slot couplings, complete with stainless steel coupling bar and pin
• Dual aspect rechargeable headlamp

Supplied with 12 months warranty, firing irons, and a starter kit of coal, oil and water treatment.
