Myford ML7B Tri-leva lathe - stock code 5648

Our own Myford ML7 lathe - this one came in some years ago, well equipped and in good condition, so we kept it for the top workshop - that's the one above my office, used mainly for making up pipework. The lathe has had occasional use there shortening union nuts and making up the odd sized nipple when required - with the arrival of another lathe downstairs, time has come to move this one on.

Originally from a college, it's a single phase machine on cabinet stand with Tri-leva speed change attachment and quick change screwcutting gearbox with thread dial indicator. There are various accessories for it, including Pratt 3 jaw chuck and a couple of catch plates, swivelling vertical slide, quick change toolpost with three toolholders and a box of bits and bobs.
