Myford 254S metric screw-cutting lathe. 4 3/4 inch centre height x 20 inches between centres, hardened bed. Spindle mounted on taper roller bearings. Power cross-feed, fully-enclosed lead-screw. Enclosed oil-bath lubrication to headstock, gearbox and apron.

Complete with low-voltage lighting, Myford coolant system, Mitutoyo DRO (with inch/metric modes), large and small 3-jaw chucks, 4-jaw chuck, faceplate, optional large indexing cross- and topslide dials, Myford-Dickson quick change toolpost with ten toolholders, complete set of Myford collets, revolving tailstock centre, industrial cabinet stand with coolant tray, anti-vibration feet, splashback and lockable sliding doors.

There is a headstock adaptor with drawbar which gives a standard Myford-series spindle nose allowing use of all 7-series chucks and collets.

Single phase 240V operation, complete with original handbook.

The lathe has spent its working life in the hands of one man, a professional toolmaker. It has only ever done light work, the lathe and all tooling are in excellent condition.
